Gal’s Sushi is located at Highway 7 and Warden in Markham. It’s right across from Markham City Hall and the Markham Theatre for the Performing Arts (beside the Hilton Suites Hotel and Conference Centre). They offer both Japanese and Korean fare.
Ichiriki at Bloor and Church is more than just a sushi place, so it’s a bit different than most of the sushi places we review. One thing to note about Ichiriki is that they are closed Tuesday nights. This, however, was a Wednesday night.
Sushi Inn is located on Cumberland Street between Bay and Avenue, right in the heart of Yorkville. The Yorkville district is traditionally known for higher end and expensive shopping and dining experiences, however Sushi Inn breaks from that tradition and offers sushi at competitive prices similar to those found at other sushi restaurants around Toronto. Tokyo Sushi House is a small (almost tiny) restaurant on St. Joseph Street, just East of Bay and just North of Wellesley. There is a small sushi bar with a few tables at the back. Very small and cozy.
Aji Sai is located on Yonge Street, a couple of small blocks north of Bloor. It’s a small cozy place on the East side of Yonge.
Natural Sushi is located on Yonge Street about a block south of Bloor.
