Hiro Sushi is located on King Street, just east off of Jarvis Street. Hiro Yoshida, owner, sushi chef has a reputation around Toronto as a “sushi master” and provides fine dining and traditional Japanese sushi recipes.
Etsu is located on the restaurant strip of Baldwin Street, located just north of Dundas between McCaul and Beverley. It is one of at least a few sushi places that call Baldwin Street home.
Fujiyama Japanese Restaurant is located on the small restaurant and patio strip of Baldwin Street in downtown Toronto. Baldwin Street is tucked in behind Dundas Street between McCaul and Beverly. Fujiyama, named for Mount Fuji, features a patio out front.
Fune is located in the Entertainment district near the Roy Thompson Hall on Simcoe Street, just north of King Street.
Sakura Ichiban is located right on the corner of Jarvis and Adelaide in downtown Toronto, a short walk from Yonge Street. The area is slowly gentrifying, and is a short walk to St. Lawrence Market. Sakura Ichiban delivers for orders over $40.
Bikkuri Japanese Restaurant is located right in Toronto’s Financial District, on King Street, just one block east of Yonge Street.
Daily Sushi is small sushi restaurant located on Carlton Street just east of the bustling intersection of Yonge and College.
Takumi Sushi House has just opened in May 2009 in an already sushi dense area of Yonge and College.
Sushi Hana is located on Yonge Street just north of Wellesley. They’re brand new, as of this review, and it shows: Balloons and a ‘10% Off’ sign attempt to lure in Yonge street pedestrians.
Sushi Sky Japanese Restaurant is located on Yonge Street, just north of College and across the street from Kokyo Sushi. This restaurant has been around for over 10 years and the website boasts that it is the “largest Japanese Restaurant on Yonge Street”.
