Fune is located in the Entertainment district near the Roy Thompson Hall on Simcoe Street, just north of King Street.
Ninki Sushi is located in the Financial District on Adelaide Street West. There is a second location nearby that has more formal type seating and is located inside the Scotia Plaza (40 King Street West) on the Concourse level.

Sakura Ichiban is located right on the corner of Jarvis and Adelaide in downtown Toronto, a short walk from Yonge Street. The area is slowly gentrifying, and is a short walk to St. Lawrence Market. Sakura Ichiban delivers for orders over $40.
Bikkuri Japanese Restaurant is located right in Toronto’s Financial District, on King Street, just one block east of Yonge Street.
Daio Japanese Restaurant is located on Carlton Street between Yonge and Church Streets. It has a small patio out front for those up for some summer sushi.
Sushi Hana is located on Yonge Street just north of Wellesley. They’re brand new, as of this review, and it shows: Balloons and a ‘10% Off’ sign attempt to lure in Yonge street pedestrians.
Sushi Sky Japanese Restaurant is located on Yonge Street, just north of College and across the street from Kokyo Sushi. This restaurant has been around for over 10 years and the website boasts that it is the “largest Japanese Restaurant on Yonge Street”.
Ichiriki at Bloor and Church is more than just a sushi place, so it’s a bit different than most of the sushi places we review. One thing to note about Ichiriki is that they are closed Tuesday nights. This, however, was a Wednesday night.
