Oishi Kada

Oishi Kada is a small sushi restaurant located at the north end of Kensington Market — a block from College and Spadina. Our conversational review is below – with a special guest reviewer, no less!

Spring Sushi

Spring Sushi is located right in the heart of downtown Toronto, Yonge and Dundas. It’s at the top floor by the AMC theatre building across from Dundas Square. It’s an all you can eat sushi restaurant that makes use of Apple iPads as the menu ordering system for customers.

Maison du Japon

Maison du Japon is located in Markham, along Woodbine Avenue about four streets north of Steeles. They offer a la carte ordering or an all you can eat buffet.

Prince Sushi

Prince Sushi is located on Courtney Park, near Highway 10 in Mississauga. It’s part of the AMC complex, where on this Tuesday night at 7pm pretty much every restaurant was dead. Prince Sushi, however, was quite full. We were seated quickly and provided menus. It’s All You Can Eat sushi at Prince.

Etsu

Etsu is located on the restaurant strip of Baldwin Street, located just north of Dundas between McCaul and Beverley. It is one of at least a few sushi places that call Baldwin Street home.

Daio Japanese Restaurant

Daio Japanese Restaurant is located on Carlton Street between Yonge and Church Streets. It has a small patio out front for those up for some summer sushi.

Sushi Supreme Fusion

Sushi Supreme Fusion, opened in May 2009, is located on Yonge Street just south of Wellesley.

Gal’s Sushi

Gal’s Sushi is located at Highway 7 and Warden in Markham. It’s right across from Markham City Hall and the Markham Theatre for the Performing Arts (beside the Hilton Suites Hotel and Conference Centre‎). They offer both Japanese and Korean fare.

Ichiriki Japanese Restaurant

Ichiriki at Bloor and Church is more than just a sushi place, so it’s a bit different than most of the sushi places we review. One thing to note about Ichiriki is that they are closed Tuesday nights. This, however, was a Wednesday night.

Sushi Club

Sushi Club is a tiny spot on Charles just west of Yonge, right beside the Rabbas Fine Foods. There are a few booths along the side and the rest of the place is filled with small tables. It looks like it can fill up pretty quickly.
