Daily Sushi is small sushi restaurant located on Carlton Street just east of the bustling intersection of Yonge and College.
Takumi Sushi House has just opened in May 2009 in an already sushi dense area of Yonge and College.
Sushi Supreme Fusion, opened in May 2009, is located on Yonge Street just south of Wellesley.
Sushi Hana is located on Yonge Street just north of Wellesley. They’re brand new, as of this review, and it shows: Balloons and a ‘10% Off’ sign attempt to lure in Yonge street pedestrians.
Sushi Sky Japanese Restaurant is located on Yonge Street, just north of College and across the street from Kokyo Sushi. This restaurant has been around for over 10 years and the website boasts that it is the “largest Japanese Restaurant on Yonge Street”.
A nice little article from the Toronto Star on the finer points of eating sushi. Many I have never even heard of but then again, how many sushi restaurants in Toronto are truly authentic?

Ichiriki at Bloor and Church is more than just a sushi place, so it’s a bit different than most of the sushi places we review. One thing to note about Ichiriki is that they are closed Tuesday nights. This, however, was a Wednesday night.
Ichiriki Japanese Restaurant is located on Bloor Street East, just west of Church street. It’s in the main floor of an office building. It looks decent – from the outside. Sushi Inn is located on Cumberland Street between Bay and Avenue, right in the heart of Yorkville. The Yorkville district is traditionally known for higher end and expensive shopping and dining experiences, however Sushi Inn breaks from that tradition and offers sushi at competitive prices similar to those found at other sushi restaurants around Toronto. Sushi Club is a tiny spot on Charles just west of Yonge, right beside the Rabbas Fine Foods. There are a few booths along the side and the rest of the place is filled with small tables. It looks like it can fill up pretty quickly.
